M\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n on ennustettu jopa kolminkertaistuvan vuoteen 2050 menness\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p>-Meid\u00e4n on teht\u00e4v\u00e4 kaikki mahdollinen v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4ksemme muistisairausriski\u00e4. N\u00e4it\u00e4 suosituksia varten kokoamamme tutkimusn\u00e4ytt\u00f6 vahvistaa sen, mit\u00e4 olemme jo jonkin aikaa aavistaneet. Suosituksista on hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 my\u00f6s teht\u00e4ess\u00e4 poliittisia p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 suunniteltaessa kansanterveytt\u00e4 edist\u00e4vi\u00e4 hankkeita ja ohjelmia.<\/p>\n<p>Vaikka korkea ik\u00e4 on tunnetuin muistisairauksien riskitekij\u00e4, eiv\u00e4t muistisairaudet kuitenkaan ole luonnollisia vanhuusik\u00e4\u00e4n kuuluvia ilmi\u00f6it\u00e4. Muistisairauksiin ei ole parantavaa hoitoa, mutta riskitekij\u00f6ihin vaikuttamalla voidaan joissain tapauksissa niiden puhkeamista my\u00f6h\u00e4ist\u00e4\u00e4 tai etenemist\u00e4 hidastaa.<\/p>\n<p>WHO tarkasteli muistisairauksien ehk\u00e4isy\u00e4 kahdentoista muuttujan kautta. Osa niist\u00e4 liittyi el\u00e4m\u00e4ntapoihin ja osa sairauksien hallintaan. Muuttujista yhdeks\u00e4n havaittiin olevan sellaisia, joiden vaikuttavuudesta l\u00f6ytyy tutkimusn\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4. Seuraavaksi k\u00e4ymme ne l\u00e4pi yksi kerrallaan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_6 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h6>1. Riitt\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 fyysisest\u00e4 aktiivisuudesta ja liikunnasta huolehtiminen<\/h6>\n<h6>2. Tupakoinnin v\u00e4ltt\u00e4minen<\/h4>\n<h6>3. Terveellisest\u00e4 ja monipuolisesta ruokavaliosta huolehtiminen<\/h6>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_7 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module blue_list\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>Eniten tutkimustietoa on v\u00e4limerellisen ruokavalion hy\u00f6dyist\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p>WHO:n mukaan aikuisten terveellinen ruokavalio koostuu seuraavista osa-alueista:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hedelmi\u00e4, vihanneksia, palkokasveja, p\u00e4hkin\u00f6it\u00e4 ja t\u00e4ysjyv\u00e4\u00e4<\/li>\n<li>V\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n 400 g (esimerkiksi viisi annosta) hedelmi\u00e4 ja vihanneksia p\u00e4iv\u00e4ss\u00e4<\/li>\n<li>Vapaat sokerit kattavat korkeintaan 10 % kokonaisenergiansaannista. Vapailla sokereilla tarkoitetaan lis\u00e4ttyj\u00e4 sokereita sek\u00e4 luonnostaan hunajassa, siirapeissa, marja- ja hedelm\u00e4mehuissa ja mehutiivisteiss\u00e4 olevia sokereita.<\/li>\n<li>Korkeintaan 30 % kokonaisenergiansaannista koostuu rasvoista. Suositaan tyydyttym\u00e4tt\u00f6mi\u00e4 rasvahappoja. Tyydyttyneet rasvahapot kattavat korkeintaan 10 % ja transrasvat korkeintaan 1 % kokonaisenergiansaannista.<\/li>\n<li>V\u00e4hemm\u00e4n kuin 5 grammaa (noin yksi teelusikallinen) suolaa p\u00e4iv\u00e4ss\u00e4. Alkoholin liikak\u00e4yt\u00f6n v\u00e4ltt\u00e4minen<\/h6>\n<h6>5. Kognitiivisten harjoitusten tekeminen sek\u00e4 kognitiivinen stimulaatioterapia<\/h6>\n<h6>6. Ylipainon v\u00e4ltt\u00e4minen<\/h6>\n<h6>7. Korkean verenpaineen v\u00e4ltt\u00e4minen<\/h6>\n<h6>8. Diabeteksen ehk\u00e4isy tai hyv\u00e4 hoitotasapaino<\/h6>\n<h6>9. Dyslipidemioiden eli veren poikkeavien rasva-arvojen hyv\u00e4 hoito<\/h6>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_10 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>Sosiaalinen aktiivisuus edist\u00e4\u00e4 monella tapaa hyvinvointia, mutta tutkimustieto sen muistisairauksia ehk\u00e4isev\u00e4st\u00e4 vaikutuksesta on riitt\u00e4m\u00e4t\u00f6nt\u00e4.
